The great event will showcase Tasmanian boutique beer and cider from the following breweries: Moo Brew, Two Metre Tall, Iron House, Seven Sheds, Van Dieman, Taverners and introducing Captain Blighs Cider.

Cool Wine will showcase micro brewed boutique products from outside Tasmania.

The Salamanca Rotary club will be running a sausage sizzle and non-alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase at the event.

Come along to show your support for Tasmania’s micro brewery industry and have a chance to taste some of your favourite boutique beers and ciders from all over the island and you might even find some new favourites.

The line up features a range of experts with professional tips on getting the most out of the homebrewing experience.

A one-day conference dedicated to home brewers, from aspiring kit and kilo brewers to all-grain experts. There will be talks ranging from the use of basic (and more exotic) ingredients, recipe formulations, starting your own micro-brewery, new brewing techniques and products, trade displays and a whole lot of quality craft-brewed beers to taste.

Beer and Food Matching Dinner – Under the guidance of Matt Kirkegaard, founder of Good Beer.Lunches and beer website Australian Brews News, a fantastic four course meal has been designed with matching beers. Rory Gibson, beer columnist for the Courier Mail will be entertaining us with stories of his journey from beer consumer to beer critic.

There will be something for every beer brewer and connoisseur – it doesn’t matter what your brewing standard is, there’ll be something there for you. The event kicks off on the night of the 4th Nov with Friday night beer-o’clock drinks at 6.30pm at the Archive Bar, with the main activities set for Nov 5th – all day.
